Fabrication

The expertise of our staff coupled with the comprehensive range of facilities produce a department capable of a wide variety of work. This work may be small precise batch work or larger pieces up to 5 tonnes.

Where welding is concerned, we have made large investments in MIG, TIG and manual arc. We have particular specialisation in the welding of non-ferrous metals. The department undertakes the fabrication of pressurised vessels to stringent specifications from mild steel, stainless or aluminium. Our welders are assessed to BS EN 287.1.

The department is able to provide Vibro-Stress Relieving facilities I house or on site. We are also able to undertake Non Destructive Testing to dye penetrant PCN level 2.

These welding facilities are complemented by our sheet metal working capability. The 4,000 square foot department contains brake presses, rolls, guillotine and spot welding equipment.
